ESL announce CS:GO Pro League 2017 details


ESL have announced details regarding next year’s iterations of ESL Pro League.
ESL have released information regarding next year’s instalments of the prominent ESL Pro League. 2017 will feature Seasons 5 & 6, with the aggregate prize pool upped to $2,000,000 distributed equally between the two, boasting a whopping $1,000,000 each. This is a $500,000 increase in comparison to this year’s version of the tournaments.
As per previous iterations both seasons will feature league play, running over a period of three months. Said league play will take place between February 7th and May 18th for Season 5. The top teams from this stage qualify for the LAN finals that will be hosted in Dallas, Texas, United States at the Verizon Theatre during the first weekend of June. Regarding Season 6, the only information announced as of yet is the preliminary schedule, where league play will take place during August – November 2017, with the LAN finals scheduled for December.
All matches will be played on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
